#IronMan #7: “#ExecuteProgram” presents us with the most powerful version of IM that we’ve seen to date - but @ what cost? With his allies worrying that he maybe losing his humanity & reports of his armor being used for murder - could the #Extremis serum be corrupting him? 4/5 #IronMan #8: It’s obvi. that something is awry with Tony - obvi. to everyone but him. Now empowered by the Extremis Serum, Tony confronts Mallen in order to put an end to his reign of carnage once and for all. I did not care for this issue - at least not during my first read through. While I can appreciate a fierce battle - of which this issue definitely has - it occupies such a significant portion of the final issue that it just feels rather bloated, especially since it doesn’t g

Meanwhile, Mallen, endowed with unimaginable strength from the Extremis Serum, raids an FBI Office. So, to start things off, this issue was incredibly graphic. Which was actually surprising

Released in 2004, “Iron Man: Extremis” served as a soft reboot, wherein the titular characters origin is both altered and modernized. It’s also readers first glimpse at the armor design that would eventually become the basis for the 2008 blockbuster film, “Iron Man.” “Extremis” presents us with a version of Tony Stark who has been Iron Man for a substantial amount of time - albeit, as he does in

"There was an idea.." For close to a decade, we’ve watched them. We've seen them from their beginnings, watching as they showed us just how extraordinary they each were; we watched as they learned painful lesson after lesson, as each of them dealt with losses so unimaginable that they would've crippled any ordinary person; we've seen them muster every ounce of their strength to stave off threats

While it may seem strange to do a review on a trailer, I feel that the first trailer to a movie ten years in the making is worth spending a minute discussing. I want to start by saying this trailer was absolutely AMAZING. It’s truly INCREDIBLE just how much Marvel embedded within such a brief 2 minutes and 34 seconds. From the start of the trailer, I was hooked – with the all too familiar sound o
