Okay, so, Dragonball Fighterz is about… well, it’s about Dragonball and it’s about fighting. Go figure, right? Anyway, I’m not going to get into the minutia of the story mode – or most of the other modes, for that matter; no, instead this whole article is going to be about the mode I’ve spent… just… so much time playing. Online Ranked Matches. And I’m not even remotely kidding when I say that I ha
Be sure to read my thoughts on Episode 01 here! The episode begins with Light in class, now accompanied by his new best bud, Ryuk, who, due to the contract binding them to one another via the Death Note, has to remain by his side at all times. This is much to Ryuk’s chagrin, given the fact that he finds hanging out in Light’s classes to be boring. When the two get home Light quickly begins writin
The episode begins by switching back and forth between Ryuk and Light as they both engage in an inner monologue regarding the stagnancy of their lives; how “DAY IN AND DAY OUT” everything remains the same, seemingly forever unchanging. So, in his infinite boredom, Ryuk, the Shinigami, decides to drop his Death Note in the Human World for shits and giggles. Light just so happens to be the one who n
Forty one years ago, when Planet Vegeta was still teeming with life, there were born three extraordinary Saiyan children; one was labeled a low-class warrior, another was bred to be a Prince, and the last was exiled to the farthest reaches of the universe. While unbeknownst to any of them at the time, destiny would eventually force them to cross paths and engage in a conflict so intense it would l
MechaGodzilla City has been destroyed; and with it, humanity’s final chance of killing the unstoppable Godzilla.. or is it? With Captain Haruro’s focus split between the loss of his closest friend and his likely court martial for his actions against the Bilusaludo, the Exif Priest, Metphies, has used the chaos as a catalyst to induct a considerable amount of crew members into his religious cult. W
With most of their crew decimated by the overwhelming power of Godzilla, Captain Haruro Sakaki and the remaining Aratrum crew members must regroup and decide their next course of action. Luckily for them, they stumble across the research facility that once housed MechaGodzilla, a technological creature constructed by the Bilusaludo to combat Godzilla. Due to the nature of the “nano-metal” of which
Ichigo Kurosaki is just a normal teenager. He goes to school, hangs out with his friends, and spends time with his father and two younger sisters. Oh, and he can see spirits. The Good. If my score was based solely on effort, Bleach would receive high marks. You can tell that director Shinsuke Sato has a clear understanding of the world which Tite Kubo has created, as he manages to ensure that al
If I hadn’t seen it with my own eye, I don’t know whether or not I would have been able to believe it. So much power, from a single attack. Not only did he level the entire castle, but he also managed to decimate part of the mountainside as well. All that power from just one person. Incredible. I decide that now is as good a time as any to talk to him. He may have an abnormally large amount of c
Of course, they would attack me when I can’t defend myself. I think. Don’t have the guts to come at me when I’m at full power. No, they launch a surprise attack, killing dozens of my men. And now, with this wound in my stomach, I can’t do anything but wait for them to come and finish me off. Bastards. “We will protect you, Hanzo-Sensei,” one of my men whispers from the door. These four men decide
Every now and then you'll come across a show that's just so good that you can't help but tell people about it. For me, at this moment, that show would have to be Parasyte: The Maxim. Having just finished the final episode last night, (really, early this morning) I'm still attempting to wrap my head around it all. Parasyte is unlike any other anime that I've seen, which is why I feel even more incl
